About Nelora

Nelora started the way menopause usually does: quietly, at home, in a family that didn't have the words for it yet.

Founder Eugene Zharkov watched the transition arrive in his own family – the broken sleep, the mood with new edges, the symptoms that seemed unrelated until they weren't, the appointments that went nowhere because memory is a poor witness. What struck him wasn't just how hard it was. It was how ordinary it was. This decade arrives in almost every family, and almost no family is prepared for it.

So he started building the tool he wished his own family had had: something that turns scattered, confusing days into a pattern you can actually see – and bring to a doctor, or act on yourself. Not another clinical questionnaire. A calm companion that makes women's lives a little easier through a decade that deserves better support.

What we believe

  • Your experience is data, not drama. A timestamped "hot flash, 2:40pm" is worth more than a month of trying to remember.
  • Patterns beat explanations. We won't tell you wine causes your night sweats. We'll show you what actually lines up in your own logs – often something less obvious – and let you decide.
  • No blame, ever. Nothing in Nelora will make you feel at fault for a symptom. Bodies change; that's not a failing.
  • Privacy is the default. Health data is sensitive. We don't put symptom details in notifications, we don't sell data, and we don't share anything without you choosing to.

About our content

Articles on this site are written by the Nelora editorial team in plain language, from published research and clinical guidance – here's how we work. They're general information, not medical advice. When a clinician has reviewed a piece, the page says so. Spotted something we got wrong? Tell us – we'd genuinely like to fix it.
